A river of darkness, and a river of light. They have many names, but the most common phrase is balance. You can never have the dark river without the light river and vice versa. Both flow evenly throughout the world, keeping it aloft. However, there are some other factors that can fuel the two rivers. Lonely Night The night was one like no other. The gentle breeze caressing the skin lovingly, tenderly bringing a cool touch to the body. Breathing out, a puff of air clouds my sight in front of me. A glance upward shows the sky above me. The color is fading from a bright blue to a black sky. The only thing that lights my path are the stars in the sky and the moon in the sky. Around me, the sound of silence rings strong. No birds, no lights...everything seems lost here. Another breath out, and off in the distance my goal looms: a mountain that is fading away. With one step forward, I move on.
